Spring 2020 Registration


Registration begins:

  • Friday, November 8th – Class of 2020

  • Monday, November 11th – Class of 2021

  • Tuesday, November 12th – Class of 2022

  • Wednesday, November 13th – Class of 2023


Let's begin by reviewing the necessary steps you need to complete a successful registration.

  1. You are required to meet with your advisor to discuss your academic plans.

  2. You should check your WebSTAC account to confirm:

    • Your date and time to register.

    • That your account is free of any holds. Clear any holds before you register because you will not be allowed to register as long as the holds are active.


To prepare for your advising appointment:

  1. You should first review the course listings for course ideas.

  2. View the general registration information guidelines and your specific class instructions on

  3. Complete the Registration Worksheet on WebSTAC prior to your registration meeting. Please pay special attention to the pre-requisites for the Olin courses.

  4. Review the Registration Information and Procedures


Ways to make an appointment: Please remember only your academic advisor can approve you for registration. Please do not wait until the last minute to discuss your registration.

  1. Stop by Simon 118 to schedule your advising appointment.
  2. You can schedule an appointment online by utilizing your academic advisor's OnceHub page and selecting "Registration Appointment."

Registration Notes for Spring 2020:
  • MEC 290: Students wanting to enroll in any section of MEC 290 will be automatically waitlisted. Priority registration will be given first to students who are members of BSBA Class of 2023 as of November 1. The BSBA Programs Office will review waitlists and all students will be notified of their status by Friday, November 15, 2019.
 
  • DAT 120: Students wanting to enroll in any section of DAT 120 will be automatically waitlisted. Priority registration will be given first to students who are members of BSBA Class of 2023 as of November 1. The BSBA Programs Office will review waitlists and all students will be notified of their status by Friday, November 15, 2019.
 
  • DAT 120 midterm exam is scheduled for Friday, February 28 from 8:30 am until 10:00 am. Please plan your spring schedule to accommodate this exam.

  • MEC 370 is only offered in the spring semester. If you are considering the Economics & Strategy major, you should enroll in this course this spring.
 
  • New Courses for Spring 2020:
    • DAT 400A: Data Management Tools for Business Decisions
    • ACCT 363: Cost Analysis and Control
 
  • Enrollment Caps for BSBA courses will not increase. To ensure your enrollment in a BSBA class, please enroll in an open section of the course.
 
  • All students must meet the prerequisites as listed in the course description. Students who do not meet the prerequisites will be removed from that business course.
 
  • Internal Transfer Application Deadline is December 18, 2019
