PLAN: Review eligibility and academic requirements, learn about financial processes, consider program options, meet with a WU study abroad returnees and a Global Programs coordinator, and explore FAQs.
APPLY: Once you have chosen a program, review the application process and complete a WashU application, available on the individual program brochure page.
PREPARE: Fulfill all pre-departure requirements and learn about health and safety abroad. Research your host country and cultural norms. 
ACADEMICS: Review the resources, learn about pre-departure and post-program orientation, learn how courses abroad will count toward your degree, and review program specific information.
ABROAD: Go Abroad! Share your experience while on your program and remember to prepare for you return.
RETURNEES: Review the credit transfer process, information on returning to campus, and how you can share and capitalize on your experience.
RESOURCES & POLICIES: In order to make the most of your program, make sure to review the study abroad handbook and familiarize yourself with program policies and procedures.
PARENTS AS PARTNERS: The support of family and friends is extremely important as your prepare, study abroad, and return home. Make sure to point out this information to your parents, guardians, and mentors.
