Mail pickup and delivery times in Knight (KH), Bauer (BH),and Simon (ISH) are 10:00 a.m., noon and 3:00 p.m.

Knight Center

Mail pickup and delivery times for the Knight Center (KC) generally falls between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m.

Incoming Mail

The U.S. Postal Service delivers mail to the Butler Building once each morning. Mail delivery to Simon Hall (SH) occurs between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m. Mail delivery to Knight (KH) and Bauer Halls (BH) occurs between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m.  All incoming mail is sorted and placed in the staff and faculty mailboxes by General Services.  Mail delivery to Knight and Bauer Halls occurs between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m.  All incoming mail is sorted and placed in the staff and faculty mailboxes by Aramark.

Intercampus Mail

Brown intercampus envelopes are available for sending intercampus mail. The department name and box number of the recipient must be included on the address. The department name and box number of the sender should also be included on the envelope. Outgoing mail bins are located in each administrative office within Simon Hall. Faculty should use the bins located in the Faculty Support offices.

Outgoing Mail

Outgoing mail is collected Monday through Friday from the Outgoing mail bins located in all administrative offices within all Olin buildings. Outgoing mail will leave at approximately 3:00 p.m. Postage is paid for all mail pertaining to Olin Business School work. Arrangements for parcel or overnight mail service may be arranged through Faculty Support personnel or another department assistant. Contact Peggy Smith (314-935-6369) in Campus Mailing Services for best method on handling bulk mailings.

Personal Mail

Olin Business School will process personal mail with the appropriate postage affixed. Please keep outgoing personal mail to a minimum. Olin wants to provide this service to faculty and staff, but asks that these mail services be used as the exception rather than the rule. A U.S. Postal Service mailbox is located between Simon Hall and Mallinckrodt Center as well as between Knight Center and the Law School for use in mailing personal items. Mailbox pickups are at 8:20 a.m., 1:38 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday and noon on Saturday. Stamp machines are also located in Mallinckrodt. A full-service post office is also located in The Village on Snow Way Drive.

UPS

Packages to be shipped by UPS will leave the Olin buildings within 24 hours of receipt by General Services. Please place your packages in or as near to the outgoing mailbox as possible. Affix a clearly written note to any packages that should be sent via UPS. Please keep personal packages to a minimum.

Federal Express

A Federal Express drop box is located on the first floor of Simon Hall next to the elevator. Forms for Federal Express are located in Faculty Support offices as well as at the Federal Express Box in Simon.  Pick-up for Federal Express is Monday through Friday at 6:15 p.m. There is no Saturday or Sunday pick-up. The last pickup for Express Mail Next Day is at 7:13 p.m. at the drop box outside of Mallinckrodt.
