Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis | Groups
Welcome to the official website of the Washington University in St. Louis Health Administration Program, or (HAP). HAP at Washington University was one of the United States' 7 founding programs in graduate level hospital administration. The program began in 1946, and produced over 1,400 graduates in its 62 year history. Many of these graduates have gone on to assume senior level leadership positions at hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout the United States.

The purpose of this site is to preserve the history of HAP at Washington University, and to provide a central point of networking for HAP alumni. This website will ensure that the HAP Alumni Association of Washington University is an active and living organization for many years to come.

The HAP ALUMNI BOARD OF DIRECTORS has selected Kimberly Russel (Class of 1983) as the Distinguished Alumnae for 2015. Ms. Russel is the President and CEO of Bryan LGH Health System in Lincoln, Nebraska. Ms. Russel was honored at the annual reception on March 17, 2015 at the University Club of Chicago.
The HAP Alumni Association is currently engaged in funding the JOH Memorial in the Olin Business School's new facilities, Knight and Bauer Halls. The Memorial remembers James Hepner, Ph.D., FACHE who was the Program Director from 1967 to 2000. His efforts shaped not only our Program, but our industry. The purpose of this campaign is to memorialize Dr. Hepner by dedicating a space in his name, while also preserving our Program’s legacy on the campus of Washington University. You may support this effort through a donation or pledge to the JOH Memorial Fund. Gifts may be sent to Washington University, Olin Alumni and Development Office, Campus Box 1210, St. Louis, MO 63130. All questions can be directed to Sean Martin at 314-935-3687 or sean_martin@wustl.edu – our Washington University contact for this initiative.
